HeartSync is a VST3 and AU plugin developed by Conscious Audio that connects to Bluetooth heart-rate monitors and maps your live pulse to your DAW's tempo using OSC and Ableton Link. As your heart rate changes, your project's BPM follows within a range you control.

Which DAWs work with HeartSync?

HeartSync Beta is available as VST3 and AU, and has been tested with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and Reaper. It connects to your DAW's tempo via OSC and Ableton Link.

What heart-rate monitors are compatible?

HeartSync works with Apple Watch (via the free HeartSync Mobile iOS app) and standard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart-rate monitors including Polar H10, Polar Verity Sense, Garmin HRM monitors, Wahoo TICKR, and similar devices.

Can I use my Apple Watch with HeartSync?

Yes. Install the free HeartSync Mobile app from the App Store, pair your Apple Watch, and tap Send to HeartSync. Your watch streams live heart-rate data to the HeartSync plugin in your DAW over Bluetooth LE — no extra hardware needed.

How do I install HeartSync?

Download the free Conscious Audio Installer for macOS or Windows. Sign in, select HeartSync, and click Install. The installer handles setup, license activation, and automatic updates.

HeartSync is currently in beta and available for free early access. Sign up on our website to join the beta program and receive updates about the official release.

What operating systems does HeartSync support?

HeartSync runs on macOS 12+ and Windows 10/11 as a VST3 and AU plugin. HeartSync Mobile is available on iOS with Apple Watch support. All desktop installers are signed with DigiCert.

Insert HeartSync on a track, scan and pair your device, choose the active monitor, and enable Tempo Sync. The host tempo then follows your heart rate in real time with smoothing applied.

Ableton Live supports Link and OSC workflows, Logic Pro uses Ableton Link clocking, and Reaper uses an OSC control surface. On Windows, install loopMIDI and create a virtual port named HeartSync for MIDI Clock fallback.
